Calm Strength
A calmer way to build strength in midlife.
A guided 12-week online strength program for women who want to feel stronger, more capable and more confident in their bodies - without the pressure, hype or extremes of traditional fitness culture.
You don't have to train harder to make progress. You need an approach that meets you where you are and helps you build from there.
Strength that fits your life
You know that strength matters. You want to look after your health, feel more capable and keep doing the things that matter to you.
But finding an approach to exercise that fits your body and your life isn't always straightforward.
Perhaps you've tried programs that demanded more time, energy or intensity than you could comfortably sustain. Perhaps you found it difficult to know where to start, how to progress or how to adapt exercises to suit you.
Or perhaps you're simply tired of fitness programs that make exercise feel like another test you have to pass.
Calm Strength offers a different approach.
Over 12 weeks, you'll follow a structured, progressive strength program designed for midlife women. You'll have guidance, opportunities to ask questions and support as you develop your strength at a manageable pace.
No bootcamp mentality. No pressure to keep up with someone else's progress. Just thoughtful coaching and a clear path forward.
Is Calm Strength for you?
Calm Strength may suit you if you:
-
Want to build strength without exhausting yourself.
-
Prefer exercising at home rather than in a gym.
-
Would like clear guidance instead of having to work everything out yourself.
-
Have struggled to find an exercise routine that fits your life.
-
Want to feel more capable in everyday activities.
-
Value an individualised, respectful approach to movement.
-
Want to make strength training a sustainable part of your life.
You don't need to be fit already, and you don't need to prove anything before you begin.
You simply need to be interested in building strength and willing to work progressively towards your goals.

What makes Calm Strength different?
Structured, progressive training
You'll follow a planned approach to strength training, with exercises and progressions introduced in a considered way. The aim is to help you develop strength over time, rather than asking you to do everything at once.
A pace that respects your body
Your starting point matters. Exercises can be adapted to suit your current abilities and circumstances, with an emphasis on good technique, appropriate effort and recovery.
You won't be expected to push through pain or exhaustion to prove you're working hard enough.
Support without the pressure
You'll exercise alongside a small group of women working towards their own goals. There's room to learn, ask questions and build confidence without competition or comparison.
Exercise at home
Because Calm Strength is delivered online, you can take part from your own home without travelling to a gym or navigating an unfamiliar exercise environment.
The goal isn't to make exercise another demand on your life. It's to help you find an approach that works within it.

What you can expect
Calm Strength combines guided training with ongoing support, so you're not left to navigate the 12 weeks alone.
Your program includes:
-
Three live online strength classes each week, guided in real time.
-
Small group sessions, with a maximum of ten women per session.
-
Recorded classes to revisit or catch up when you can't attend live.
-
Regular individual virtual check-ins to discuss your progress and how the program is working for you.
-
Progressive programming designed to help you build strength over the 12 weeks.
You'll have structure to follow, guidance when you need it and opportunities to reflect on what's working for you.

What might change over 12 weeks?
Everyone starts from a different place, so your experience will be your own.
As you practise and develop your strength, you may begin to notice that everyday movements feel more manageable, that you feel more confident exercising, or that you're better able to recognise what your body needs.
You may also find that exercise begins to feel less like something you have to force yourself to do and more like a regular part of caring for your health.
There are no promises of overnight transformation. The aim is to give you a thoughtful starting point, practical skills and a foundation you can continue building on.
This isn't about becoming a different woman. It's about discovering what your body can do.
Meet your coach
I'm Vicki, a qualified Personal Trainer with over eight years of experience.
My background includes personal training, yoga and Pilates, along with further training in wellness coaching and women's health.
My approach to strength has also been shaped by my own experience of living in a body that doesn't always respond predictably to exercise. I've learned the importance of adapting movement, respecting limitations and finding ways to build capacity without treating the body as something that needs to be conquered.
That experience informs the way I coach: with curiosity, patience and respect for the individual.
I created Calm Strength because I believe women deserve an alternative to fitness culture that relies on shame, pressure or the idea that harder is always better.
You deserve support that takes your goals seriously without asking you to disregard yourself along the way.

The founding Calm Strength group
Calm Strength is preparing for its first release, and I'm inviting a small founding group of women to take part.
As a beta participant, you'll experience the 12-week program while helping me refine the experience for future participants. Your feedback will be welcomed as I develop the program.
This is an opportunity to build strength in a supportive group while helping shape something designed to offer women a different relationship with exercise.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Calm Strength is intended for women with a range of starting points. You don't need to be experienced with strength training, although we'll need to establish whether the program is appropriate for your individual needs.
What if I have limitations or exercises I find difficult?
Let me know about your circumstances and any movement limitations before beginning. We can discuss whether the program is suitable and what adaptations may be needed. Not every exercise will suit every person, and pain shouldn't be something you feel obliged to push through.
What if I can't attend a live class?
Classes are recorded, so you can revisit sessions or catch up when you're unable to attend live. Individual guidance and feedback are still important, so we'll also discuss how best to use the recordings as part of your program.
Is this a high-intensity program?
No. Calm Strength focuses on progressive strength training rather than bootcamp-style workouts or maximal-effort sessions. The intention is to build strength through considered practice and appropriate progression.
Will I receive individual support?
Yes. The program includes regular individual virtual check-ins, alongside guidance during the live group classes.
How do I find out whether it's right for me?
Get in touch and tell me a little about what you're looking for. We can discuss your goals, the program structure and whether Calm Strength is a suitable option for you.
Find your own kind of strong
You don't have to follow the loudest voice in fitness. You don't have to measure yourself against someone else's body or progress.
You can build strength in a way that respects your starting point, supports your health and fits the life you're living now.
If that sounds like the kind of approach you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
